| What to compare | Other AI appsCloud-hosted assistants & agent services | The GuildSet up for you |
|---|---|---|
| Your AI subscription | Models, usage allowances and subscriptions are set by each app. | Use your own eligible Claude or ChatGPT subscription through its supported runtime. API billing is another option; plan limits and model access still apply. |
| Where it runs | The provider runs the service on infrastructure it manages. | Installed on a suitable computer you own and control. |
| How it is set up | Usually starts with the provider's product flow. Onboarding and human help vary. | Chazrt maps your work, installs the system and configures the starting team. |
| How it fits your work | May connect to files, apps and personal context, depending on the product and plan. | Generic skills are adapted through the interview to your processes, language, permissions and review rules. |
| Memory and files | Memory and connected files depend on the provider's features and settings. | Built-in conversational memory is included. Selected files can be configured without adding the Second Brain service. |
| Day-to-day access | Access depends on the provider's app, web experience or messaging channels. | Telegram is the front door, with the installed system working from your computer. |
| Running and support | The provider operates the hosted service and sets its support model. | Your host, internet and configured accounts keep it available. Optional care can cover agreed maintenance and updates. |
Other apps vary and can include their own memory and connected tools. Local installation still uses cloud AI: content can go to your model provider and connected services.
Start with the roles you need. Select one to see the work it can help with.
Frames the request, uses the context you have shared, and hands the drafting to Comms.
You get: A morning decision brief and two client drafts, ready for your review.
These are example roles. Your starting team is scoped around your work, rather than a fixed list of agents.
A normal message, in the chat you already use.
Ask in Telegram. Follow the work in the dashboard.
The same team can help with both. Choose the examples closest to your day.
You can mix work and personal routines. The interview helps define what belongs together, and what should stay separate.
Preferences, working notes and relevant files help the next request start in the right place.

Memory is built in. The Second Brain service is optional.
The team remembers your preferences, your working notes, and the files you hand it. Enough that you are not starting from scratch every morning.
It can reach procedures, proposals and past work from across the business, organised so it can actually be found.
Open a tab. Look around. See what happens underneath.
Keep your preferences and working notes close, so you do not repeat the same briefing every day.
The software is the starting point. The interview makes it yours.
We learn your routines, vocabulary, files, tools, permissions, approval points and the outputs you expect.
Generic skills. Your processes, language, tools and review rules.
A setup you can understand and use.
Stay close to the shared software. Adapt the setup around you. Review changes before they reach your working system.
Unified settings, live steering for Claude tasks, new model choices and clearer Telegram controls.
What it needs, what it costs to run, and where the limits are.
No. A suitable laptop or desktop can host the Guild. It needs to stay awake and online when you want scheduled or background work to run. We confirm the machine and supported setup before quoting the install.
No. The installed system depends on its host computer, internet connection and configured services. If the computer sleeps, shuts down or loses its connection, work pauses until those dependencies return.
No. Built-in conversational memory comes with the Guild, and agents can be configured to use selected files. The separate Second Brain service is optional structured knowledge work for teams that want their documents, procedures and history organised more deeply.
Setup is quoted separately. You also pay for the model account used by the system and any optional hardware or third-party services you choose. Optional care and new additions are scoped separately. We confirm the likely account needs from your planned workload rather than publishing one universal running-cost figure.
No. The system runs from your computer, but content can be sent to the model provider, Telegram and any tools you enable when a task needs them. The setup interview defines the connections, permissions and review points. We explain the intended data flow before those services are connected.
Both. We begin with generic skills where they fit, then adapt them through the interview to your process, vocabulary, tools, permissions and expected output. Extra skills added later are scoped separately.
The exact scope is agreed before work begins. It can include the interview, team configuration, installation, agreed connections, workflow checks and handover. The quote states which roles, skills and services are included.
You can manage the installation yourself or choose an optional care arrangement with a defined scope. Without care, upgrades, recovery and future changes are your responsibility unless separately booked. Support commitments are agreed in writing rather than assumed from the website.
A failed task may need a clearer instruction, restored connection, renewed account access or a change to the workflow. Tasks with meaningful consequences should keep a human review step. Recovery and backup responsibilities are agreed as part of the setup or care scope.
The handover documents what is installed and configured for your use. Continued operation still depends on the host computer, internet access, model account, Telegram, enabled tools and the terms of the underlying software and services. The agreement defines your use rights and the parts Chazrt continues to support.
